The BA Fashion Cohorts at Middlesex University are delighted to announce a special multi‑designer pop‑up event created and curated by students from BA Fashion Design, BA Fashion Communication & Styling, and Fashion Marketing. Taking place at Ravensfield Theatre, The Burroughs, London NW4 4BT on Tuesday 31 March 2026 from 3–5PM, the event brings together five influential designers whose work has shaped contemporary British fashion:BodyMap, Boudicca, Martine Rose, Christopher Raeburn, and Adam Frost. This collaborative showcase celebrates the intersection of fashion craft, culture, sustainability, and innovation across disciplines. Each student team hasdeveloped an immersive response to one of the featured designers, drawing on their distinct legacies—from BodyMap’s radical subcultural silhouettes, to Boudicca’s conceptual artistry, Martine Rose’s community‑driven identity and repurposed materials, Raeburn’s commitment to responsible and re‑engineered design, and Adam Frost’s experimental, texture‑driven and queer cultural approach. The result is a series of expressive installations that invite guests to experience fashion as narrative, emotion, and environment. Working across specialisms, students have reinterpreted these iconic brands through contemporary lenses—blending sustainability, upcycling, cultural storytelling, textile manipulation, digital practices, and live interaction. The pop‑up is open to the public and reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to hands‑on, industry‑relevant learning. Event Details Date: Tuesday 31 March 2026 Time: 3:00PM – 5:00PM Venue: Ravensfield Theatre, Middlesex University, The Burroughs, London NW4 4BT Admission: Free, open to all Please see invite attached.

We were very pleased to welcome Zowie Broach, Head of Fashion at The Royal College of Art @rca_fashion , who delivered a guest talk examining their practice and the development of the brand Boudicca. The session explored analogue and digital modes of inspiration, reflected on their period of study at Middlesex University, and considered broader conceptual frameworks, including creativity, technology, and quantum entanglement. The talk offered valuable critical insight into contemporary fashion practice and research-led design. @boudicca_wode #zowiebroach #boudicca #rca #fashion #research

Closing the semester with a selection of campaign projects from our Year 2 students for their Fashion Communication Practice module ✨ This body of work highlights how students developed and delivered original campaigns for a brand of their choice, rooted in their individual specialisms — from image-making and styling to creative direction, branding and storytelling. Throughout the project, students critically engaged with emerging technologies, experimenting with AI image creation and editing alongside traditional fashion communication tools, questioning authorship, ethics and innovation in contemporary practice. What makes this work especially strong is the level of collaboration across disciplines, reflecting real industry workflows and the future-facing nature of fashion communication today. A brilliant way to close the semester with ambition, curiosity and creativity 🚀 #FashionCommunication #FashionCampaign #CreativeDirection #VisualCulture #FashionEducation
