What a way to close the season!
Last night’s performance with legendary pianist @jeanyvesthibaudet was nothing short of extraordinary. From Debussy’s shimmering colors and atmospheric sound worlds to the warmth and enthusiasm of our audience, it was an evening we won’t soon forget.
Jean-Yves himself shared that Friends of Chamber Music has one of the best audiences he’s ever performed for — a compliment we proudly share with all of you who joined us in the hall.
The evening began with a surprise appearance at the pre-concert talk, where Thibaudet joined FCM Music Committee Chair Aaron Stampfl for an engaging conversation about Debussy and the artistry behind the Préludes. Following the concert, he generously stayed to greet patrons and add his signature to FCM’s historic tapestry alongside so many remarkable artists from past seasons.
Thank you for being part of such a memorable season finale — and for supporting live music. A special thanks to our concert sponsor, @cpr_classical , and morning host Kabin Thomas who joined us for the concert.
Were you there? We’d love to hear your thoughts and favorite moments from the evening. 🎶
Eli Wald, FCM's Board President, made a stop at Channel 7's @mhltvdenver yesterday to talk about National Chamber Music Month and FCM's upcoming events.
