Last week we received a lovely donation of apples and pears from @goathams 🍐🍎
It’s safe to say the pears were definitely binturong approved by Kiki and Suki! 🐾
A huge thank you to Goatham’s for thinking of us and sharing some of their produce. We and of course the animals really appreciate the donation, especially when it comes from such a supportive local orchard 💚
As they continue to grow, they’re becoming more confident exploring their enclosure and learning how to move around just like the adults. From climbing higher and faster to attempting little jumps between platforms, their personalities are really starting to shine through!
Keep an eye out because soon we will need you help to decide on a name for them!👀🖤
This marks the beginning of our meadow planting at Deangate Community Park 🌼
We’ve been lucky enough to source funding through Buglife, and have worked closely with Medway Council and Friends of Deangate Ridge to get this project off the ground.
From our regular bee walks to creating new wildflower spaces, we’re hoping this will help support and grow pollinator colonies across the area 🐝
Because at the end of the day… to make a change, we have to bee the change 😉🐝

White-throated capuchin monkeys are known for being incredibly intelligent, and the three we have here definitely prove that every day! 🐒
Many of you may have spotted them with their walnuts before. Rather than simply biting into them, they use parts of their enclosure almost like a hammer to crack the shell open, showing problem solving skills and tool use.
