THE THICC BOI RETURNS! My signature wheel with @pirowheels is officially OUT NOW! David, Jamie, and I spent a lot of time dialing this design in. We wanted the wheel to be fun, an extension of me, and most importantly pay homage to one of the most iconic skateboard wheel graphics a lot of us grew up skating! The wheels are available in white and tan and are available in the Performance shape, which is my all-time favorite PIRO shape. It’s the perfect middle ground and an all-around wheel in my opinion.. great for pretty much any setup! You can also choose to upgrade to ceramic bearings if you want that extra EXTRA smooth roll. We know you know, but yeah.. I RIDE FOR KALYE! When I first got into fingerboarding.. one of the first things I found were Kalye Fingerboard Disneyland vlogs! ..from that point, I was hooked on @kalyedecks 🏆 #FUNFACT: One of my first pro graphics was the Kalyemania deck, and as a wrestling fan growing up, this graphic HIT DIFFERENT! A few months ago, after a tough split from a brand I was deeply connected too from their start, I found myself in a weird headspace. I took a step back and had to ask myself what this hobby truly meant to me! I knew I wouldn’t ride for another brand unless it felt perfect, no pressure, no expectations! I just wanted to ride and be stoked again! ..and then it happened! I reset up a Kalye deck, I immediately fell back in love with the shape and the over all board feel! What has always mattered to me most is who is behind a brand and why. I’ve seen Christian’s passion firsthand.. not just for fingerboarding, but for creating something deeply rooted in culture and his love for skateboarding! and let’s face it: @jakepfb already being on Kalye was a huge plus! I have so much respect for Jake and seeing him fully back Kalye spoke volumes! Truth is, I didn’t plan to ride for Kalye.. I just knew I wanted to support a genuine person doing it for the right reasons and that’s what I found with Kalye! Thank you for the love, support, Friendship and mutual respect, Christian! This vous/con weekend was incredible. Is it too early to already be counting down the days till April 2027!? At the expense of possibly over sharing with the internet.. This weekend almost didn’t happen for me. As most of you might remember, last April, during vous/con 25’ I was literally dying and didn’t even know it. The thought of going back to that hotel freaked me out for months! (nothing against the hotel obviously) I truly had to work through so many mental hurdles just to feel okay getting on the plane.. BUT because of the support from my family, friends and this amazing community.. I did it! ..and I’m so glad I did! My soul needed this past weekend! Meeting so many new people, making new friends, reconnecting with familiar faces, and seeing how much fingerboarding continues to grow is such an incredible feeling. It reminded me why I love this community so much in the first place. Huge thank you to @fingerboardcon for including me in the festivities. Clayton, Olli and Vito.. truly can’t say thank you enough! I got to sit down and have some amazing conversations with some truly people! Jake, Christian, Mike, Clay, Vito, Olli, Austin, Mikey.. 🤜🤛 I’m just really thankful. Thankful for the love, the support, and the community that continues to make this hobby feel bigger than fingerboarding itself.
