Tire pressure. After months of inactivity, inner tubes lose air. Too low = sluggish. Too high = zero grip. Somewhere in between = suddenly you’re a better rider.
Chain situation. If it sounds like a rusty shopping cart, it’s not “character”. Clean it. Lube it. Your drivetrain will thank you.
Battery health. Cold storage + neglect = unpleasant surprises. Charge it, check it, don’t just hope for the best.
