A couple years ago I started to get the itch to get back into podcasting, and the homie @fullcourtpumps heard me say it once and put me in a room with two people (@savonslvter & @antoinettewashere ) far superior to me in the podcasting world. I rode their coat tails right into a Webby award talking about things I’m deeply passionate about.
My five word speech? “Life is dope, l’m grateful.”

Gritty Dove
5 years ago I became a dad to the coolest, most amazing and sweetest little human ever. Grateful doesn’t begin to describe how I feel about being catapulted into fatherhood, watching you grow, learn and explore the world around you has profoundly and continues to profoundly change my life every day. Many years from now if you look back at your old man’s profile and read this, I hope you know I love you and you mean the world to me. Happy birthday stinks.
Wealth vs. happiness. Comfort vs. passion. We all want both, but if you had to pick one, which would you take? Let us know, cuz we can not agree at all!
This episode runs deep… with a few derailments. “Updating Your Software” is crucial for self-improvement. So tune in to get our update.
New episode, live now!
Such a fun one to help create. Shoutout @lloydlenox & @maybebluemusic for being stellar collaborators. Shoutout the entire crew for the beautiful and very hard work.
I don’t know what my son will do in the future and I’m not sure it matters to me as long as he leads a fulfilling life, however these photos made me smile.
I’m sure one day he’ll be able to peruse my instagram one day so if you’re reading this buddy, I love ya.
What a surreal moment for me - Speaking to students at @nyutisch about some of my career journey and the ups, downs and side to sides that it’s taken me through. As a project baby who didn’t even graduate high school the imposter syndrome is hitting hard today. Eternal gratitude 🤲🏼
Ever wondered what it’s like to hop on a “discovery call” with Gritty Dove?
There’s no slide deck, no countdown timer, no pressure to commit.
We ask smart, human questions. We listen more than we talk. We want to understand your goals, your challenges, and how storytelling might actually support what you’re building.
It’s a space to think out loud and brainstorm ideas. No hard close. Just an honest conversation to get an idea of what a professional video production will actually look like.
