The new Nothing phones came out last week, and I really love them. Especially the pro showing a perfect blend of minimalism and sophistication✨ I’m usually not a fan of having an extra interface on the back of a phone, but the Glyph design here feels right. The more I paid attention to these lil details, the more I started appreciating the overall design. This one’s for @nothing

A study on how light and materials define mood. I always start with light, it helps me understand how a form feels in real space. This is an experiment with subsurface materials showing how light passes through the form, creating that soft, translucent effect similar to skin or soft plastic. It’s a simple technique I use to add warmth and mood to my designs. Try it! ✨

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with lights and shadows, how they behave when applied to the simplest of shapes. It’s fascinating how just a curve or edge, under the right highlights and shadows, can create such elegant and striking visuals.

Apple’s design language has always fascinated me. It rarely changes… instead, it evolves. Each generation feels familiar yet fresh and better, always grounded in the same timeless principles: simplicity, clarity, and form following function. This consistency shows Apple’s strong taste in design and its language.
This year’s iPhone is rumored to have a few more noticeable shifts, but still within Apple’s core design philosophy. That’s exactly what timelessness in industrial design looks like… subtle evolution without losing identity.
This render is a personalized concept based on current speculations, with minor design tweaks.
In this, I’ve added small tweaks: a different bezel treatment around the camera island and the idea of a personalized name engraving (like iPads). Just experiments, not predictions.
