I started this one planning to play deep house. Even had the first one or two transitions mapped out, hit record, and... the recording just wouldn’t work. Tech issue after tech issue. I got angry (you can see it on my face 😅) but then I remembered something... playing safe defeats the purpose of this series! You don’t get to choose. You express.

Hi! I’m back with a new episode of Studio Sessions, and I’m so excited to share this one with you.
That evening, I was filled with raw emotion, so I let that lead everything. I opened the set with a track that fully expressed what I was feeling in that moment, and then followed wherever my heart needed to go.
The mix moves through 3-Step, Afrotech, and Gqom - it’s an intense (still fun though) yet authentic journey.

I’m back with a new video, something a little different this time. A few months ago, I realised that as much as I love performing for an audience, playing for myself brings me just as much joy, if not more. I love exploring sound freely, without a specific goal or any pressure.
This studio session mix is part of that process. It’s a moment where I simply follow the music and let the journey unfold. In this session, I move through Afrotech and Gqom, exploring the darker, hypnotic side of Afro-electronic music that inspires my sets.
I decided to start recording these sessions because they capture how I approach sound in the most authentic way. Imperfections included.
