The Fayetteville Strawberry Festival takes over the Historic Downtown Square May 16 & 17. We're gearing up for two full days of live music, dancing in the streets, local vendors, pie contests, dog parades, and more strawberry-themed food than you (or your doctor) ever expected.
By the time you make one lap around the Square, you'll be carrying fresh lemonade, catching the beat of a local band, and debating whether a classic strawberry shortcake or strawberry pie deserves the seasonal crown. It’s a busy Fayetteville afternoon in the best way: high-energy, high-flavor, and high-fives all around.

Sweet, tart, and taking over the Square! The Fayetteville Strawberry Festival is back on May 16 & 17!
We tried to figure out how many strawberry things are headed our way this year, but frankly, we lost count somewhere after the shortcake. It's going to be two berry-filled days on our historic downtown square.
Saturday night kicks it off with the Strawberry Street Dance from 6–10 pm. Expect live music from two different bands as you dance in the streets under a beautiful night sky.
Then Sunday from 12–6 pm, things really pick up. There will be two stages to get your feet moving, local vendors all around, and strawberries served in more ways than we can list.
Grab a quick bite on the fly. Settle in for a full set. Throw down in a pie-eating contest or find yourself suddenly leading a pack of pups in the dog parade. In true Fayetteville fashion, we're leaning into the unexpected and making plans on the move!
