When we launched our cut & sew fleece program in 2018, we knew the choice of fabric would define everything. We wanted more than just warmth; we wanted a partner who believed, like us, that responsibility and performance should go hand in hand. After research, testing, and countless conversations, one name kept coming up: Polartec®. With over 30 years of innovation, Polartec® has pioneered fabrics made from recycled fibers that resist odor, provide breathable warmth, and wick moisture in the toughest conditions. Every bolt undergoes rigorous testing and carries certifications like Bluesign®, ensuring every product leaves the lightest footprint possible. What matters most is how these fabrics perform in everyday life. Our customers have worn Polartec® fleece on trails in the Ozarks, climbing trips out West, and coffee runs in town. They’ve proven that one piece can feel just as at home around a campfire as it does on a chilly morning commute. That versatility is why we trust Polartec season after season. For us, it’s not just about technical specs, it’s about building goods that reflect our ethos. Polartec helps us do that, and we are proud to call them a partner in creating goods for the woods that are truly good for the woods.

Not all tees are created equal. Some fade fast, shrink, or unravel at the seams. Ours? They’ve stood up to trails, road trips, and hundreds of washes. Dyed in Los Angeles by a third-generation, family-owned factory, made with organic cotton and recycled poly, and printed with water-based inks that soften with every wash. Thirteen years of fine-tuning, stitched into every shirt.

Another year of dirt on our boots, cold swims, long trails, late nights, early mornings, and finding comfort outside. Cheers to #goodsforthewoods in 2026!

Winter has a way of slowing things down and inviting us out when it matters most. Wishing you a season spent well in the cold air. Happy holidays from the Ozarks.

We see it now more than ever. Feeds flooded with slop spun up in seconds. Some use it to capture attention, others to sell. What’s clear? A growing trend that values data and efficiency over craft and authenticity. We choose the latter. Every Fayettechill graphic tee starts with a real artist. Someone who sketches, erases, and refines until the work feels right. It takes time. It takes patience. It takes care. And that’s the point. This isn’t just about commerce; it’s about collaboration. About creating art that carries meaning and sharing it with our community. When you wear one of our tees, you’re not just supporting us. You’re supporting the artists who pour their time, talent, and heart into every design.

The Pettigrew returns in fresh colors, built from brushed organic cotton that layers easy, wears tough, and feels timeless. Reliable midweight warmth for the first real cold of the season.

Nearly ten years have passed since we first asked Bryn Merrell to design for Fayettechill, the start of a creative friendship that has led to some of our most iconic artwork (yes, we even put one on a company car). Based in Tahoe City, CA, Bryn has created work for some of the biggest names in the outdoor world, including Stio and Rab. Her style blends watercolor and ink into playful, whimsical interpretations of the places she calls home, from her Arizona roots to the mountains and culture of Tahoe. It’s a style that has captured the spirit of our brand time and time again. This season, we brought back one of our all-time favorites from Fall 2018: Bryn Mountains. We’re proud to call Bryn a long-time collaborator and friend, and even prouder to keep showcasing her art with our community.

No rush. No hype. Just appreciation for the local retailers across the Southeast and beyond who carry our gear year-round. If you cross paths with them this weekend, say hey.
