@dj.explizit and
@sykiq1 have been enriching the southern German and international bass music scene for many years and decades with their sound, which ranges from Dubstep and Garage to Jungle, Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, and Footwork. They have made waves both nationally and internationally with many well-curated events and releases.
Operating from downtown Munich,
@danny_scrilla has been one of the most creative suppliers of versatile, sub-heavy productions that stomp both the grounds of clubs as well as radio environments. Drawing from his own background in reggae and dancehall music, Danny holds a vast catalog of inventive solo projects as well as collaborations with renowned producers such as Kromestar, TMSV, Om Unit, and many more. His sonic portfolio, which ranges from Garage to Halftime, Dubstep, and Jungle, has manifested in highly acclaimed releases on international imprints such as ZamZam, Cosmic Bridge, Amar, and most recently, Perfect Records.
Active for over 30 years as DJ, promoter, producer, radio host, and label curator at the legendary 58beats,
@dj.explizit not only forms one backbone of Main Concept, one of the first German hip-hop formations from the early 90s, but he has also explored and trailblazed various bass music styles in Munich and beyond. Together with long-time friend and renowned music maker Jay Scarlett, he curates the innovative and forward-thinking bass music event series „Prototype Excursions,“ starring some absolute heavyweight guests from the scene such as Gaslamp Killer, Om Unit, Deft, Moresounds, and many more since 2013.
@sykiq1 is part of the Munich BamBam collective of DJs, producers, and promoters, bringing various bass music flavors to South German audiences, ranging from dark Drum & Bass to wonky Halftime productions, as well as gnarly Garage and Dubstep bangers.
