I first watched The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants when I was 10 years old. Ever since I first watched it I wanted to be like Tibby and be a film director. When I was 18 I applied to study film at NYU but got denied, so I decided to make clothes instead. Thank you to @justjewells@yzabeya@home_paige@fatfish.films for choosing me to be apart of this. Fatfish is nominated for Best Writing at the Best of the Midwest Awards. Thank you @midwestfilm , we are so honored. Fatfish is the short film that started this collective. The short film was written by @justjewells and @deliavanpraag . It explores intimacy, self-worth, sisterhood and hook-up culture.
The film was made by a crew of femme, gnc and bipoc filmmakers and features an entirely Latinx and BIPOC cast.
