Flashback Friday! Here's a pretty cool throwback bill we played at the infamous Castle Heights in Queens, way back in 2001! We made this flier ourselves, and passed 'em out at every other NYC show we went to for at least a month leading up to it - some things never change! Were you at this one? Any recollection of it? Post your memories in the comments below!

Rich Hall made so much happen for From Autumn to Ashes and so many others through the years. So many bands that have made undeniable impacts on the world of hardcore, punk, metal, etc. wouldn’t have gotten anywhere close to playing in NY without Rich’s help. In the early 2000’s all the big shows had the ‘1000 Knives’ logo on it. If you look back now and wonder “look at this show, how did they get all these bands on one bill?” The answer is Rich—that’s how. The lineups for these upcoming shows are stacked—again, because of Rich. Big thanks to the small army of promoters, agents, bands, etc. for organizing this special event. It’s truly a testament to Rich’s immeasurable influence and ultimately to the immeasurable person he was.
Come celebrate the life of Rich Hall with us on June 13 and 14 in Brooklyn.
