I have always hand chisel all my hingers, locks and striker plates. I don’t know about you guys but I found it would take such a long time especially if I was taking my time to make it look good as well as making it neat. Having this has saved me heaps of time and I manage to get so much more work done when I use these templates.
Highly recommend getting the Hinge template kit, it comes with the 85mm and the 100mm templates as well as the flush out a bit and the bag with it. Also getting the latch and striker template kit, this comes with two different latch sizes even cavity latch and two different striker plate sizes and cavity striker plate as well as a flush router bit and a bag to keep everything in.
