I merged and colorized b&w photos for the waste up one and mashed up all kinds of signatures to come up with the fonts but @alscottland and I were able to get this done in a handful of hours. NO GUEST LIST 🚫📋👊🏻🤜🏻 The album, the universe, the faunt (font) lol. It FINALLY lives on and online. This is by far the most hands-on I’ve been with any project to-date. @alec.redfoot thank you for the opportunity and @bjacks thanks for the trust. @augustdaft @juriel.ny @antoriginates @thankyouland @huhalex @linkbobbidigital @yayafiya —this was amazing to see take shape and I really enjoyed working more closely with each of you. Without getting too long winded, our objective was conciseness in theme, aesthetic and New York club lifestyle. We created a NGL World —an existence wedged between early 2000’s red carpet paparazzi glamour and gritty Gotham grunge. I love the colors all throughout the project and roll out. Brilliant rustic red felt right. Beige, eggshell, pale yellow, icy blues, minty and olive greens just felt right, I can’t explain it. The title and tracklist was made using a combo of fonts that feel similar to the way any slizzy, persuasive and charismatic New Jersey native would speak —real wise guy, Mafioso-sounding. “Yeahhhh seeee.” Witnessing the pivoting and patience needed for sample clearing processes, watching a hit single break, trend, and top Tik Tok charts, even paying close attention to the raw talent behind it all adjust himself to scheduling, navigate expectation, responsibility and learn to trust desire, advice and intuition even more along the way. I’m grateful for the experience. Jack$ happy birthday bro.
