@farronkeepband just dropped off their split cassette with the band @p4r3s1s . These tapes are super cool! Come find them in the ever-growing local section!
| We got tapes of our split with @p4r3s1s on our Bandcamp! Are you gonna say no to this guy? Are you a monster? He sniffed each one just for you! Locals DM us for them but you need to solve 3 of Pippin's complex riddles (the solutions are all scratching his tummy.)
| bit delayed but we had a lot of fun at @higherground_festival and hope everyone involved is having a happy thanksgiving with their families 🦃. I wanted to give special thanks to @stay____open & @villainsbeastro for including and hosting us, and to @hermeticlightshow for the beautiful lights n vibes :)
When I approached Zac n Audrey for this project I wasn't really sure where it would take us, I just wanted to keep in touch and make music with friends. I'm happy we got to share that with those in attendance in a live setting.
As for the future it won't be the last time you see us on stage, the three of us have definitely caught the itch to keep playing shows.
We're also doing a self-run of tapes of the Paresis split that you'll be able to grab hopefully sometime this month, or at one of said shows. For now you can listen or grab it for free/PWYC on either band's Bandcamp.

We’re excited to announce Farron Keep to the 2025 Higher Ground Festival!
Farron Keep is a Windsor based project made up of Paul Tucci (guitar, bass, vocals), Zachary McAlpine (bass, guitar, vocals) and Audrey Després (drums). The trio pulls from a variety of sonically diverse DIY influences ranging from second, third and fourth wave emo, to post punk, shoegaze and math rock. Their various influences shine through with warbled guitars, odd time signatures and alternative tunings, spoken word passages and passionate yells. Influences range from Don Martin Three, Bells on Trike, Boys Life, Indian Summer, to more contemporary math-tinged projects like Kid Crash, Algernon Cadwallader, Gulfer and Two Knights.

Ecstatic to bring you the debut EP from our friends Zac, Paul, and Audrey across the Detroit River in Toronto/Ontario, CA - Farron Keep!
The 3-piece softcore emo project contains immense layers of influences ranging from 90s midwest emo to the screamo boom of the past & present - between hushed vocals/spoken word passages that can go to trade off screaming from Paul & Zac in a snap, several audio clips scattered through tracks with twinkly guitar stylings to accompany them, and the lo-fi sound of the recording this album really does feel like a forgotten gem from the early 2000s that you'd find on the depths of youtube. It's also fitting that @drileydraws did the artwork as the closest comparison in sound that i can think of is @legdaythebest , which made it very easy for us to fall in love with this EP.
Been online mutuals geeking out about physical media with @12sweatersunread since we started this page so it seems very fitting that we've finally gotten to work together on a project - knowing how similar our tastes in music were i knew that whatever they were cooking was gonna be great, and the results absolutely did not disappoint.
