We spend so much energy trying to get rid of fear. What if we've been reading it wrong the whole time. Fear has never once pointed me toward something unimportant. Every time I've been truly scared β€” it's been of something that genuinely mattered. The line, the edge just makes it impossible to ignore. What's a fear that's been trying to tell you something? Drop it below β€” I read every one. Day 9 of 30. #slackline #adventureindia #faroutsamar #fear #mindset

The line will tell you everything about yourself in the first 30 seconds. How you breathe. Where your eyes go. How you respond when you lose control. None of it is about fitness. All of it is about attention. Save this for your first session β€” or send it to someone who keeps saying they want to try. What's stopping you from stepping on one? Tell me below. Teaching someone balance is one of the strangest gifts you can give a person. Because you can't give it to them. You can only create the conditions for them to find it themselves. That's all any of us are really doing. What's something someone else helped you find in yourself? Tell me below. Day 7 of 30. #slackline #adventureindia #faroutsamar #teaching #balance

Getting arrested was the best thing that could have happened to me. I didn't know it at the time. A sport nobody had heard of. Suddenly in the newspapers. Locals standing up for me publicly. A community forming around something that didn't exist a year ago. The curse was the blessing all along. Always is. Day 6 of 30. #slackline #adventureindia #faroutsamar #mumbai #startupstory

I think a big reason for our stunted growth in niche and unconventional sports and art forms in india is the lack of access. I know numerous people in the country who have not been able to practice their craft in public parks and places because the security guards or local authorities didn't allow it. If you've had a similar experience, I'd love to hear about it. Name your city, activity and location in the comments. Hopefully over time and collective efforts we might be able to shape a better tomorrow for ourselves and our future generations. If someone reading the comments section can help us with this, please reach out and connect. #slackline #adventureindia #faroutsamar #startupstories #memoir

The business plan was nonexistent. The market was nonexistent. The community was nonexistent. Slacklining had only been around as an organised sport for a handful of years. Globally it was a fringe community. In India β€” barely 2 or 3 people had heard of it. And I was about to make it my career. What I had was a memory of 25,000 people turning their heads and attention toward us to watch something they'd never seen before β€” at a festival in New Zealand where I made absolutely zero money. That was enough. Flew back to India. Searched every corner of social media for other slackliners. Hardly half a dozen people across the country knew what the word slackline meant. Most people would have seen a dead end. I saw an opportunity. Every founder has that moment where the gap in the market stops feeling like a risk and starts feeling like an invitation. A hat passed around at a New Zealand festival was mine. Day 4 of 30. #slackline #adventureindia #faroutsamar #startupstories #entrepreneurmotivation

Breathe, is the first thing we do when we arrive in this world. And in my worst moment β€” hung between life and death from a cliff Switzerland, three limbs broken, femur snapped in three β€” it was the only thing I had left. No control over my body. No control over the pain. Just my breath and me. The slackline had been teaching me this for years. The moment you stop breathing on the line, you fall. Every single time. Almost 3 years of recovery is reinforcing the same lesson. The value and power of a mindful breath. Whatever you're carrying today β€” come back to your breath. It's always there. It's always yours. The slackline doesn't lie. It doesn't care how confident you are off it. It doesn't care about your title, your ego, or how good you looked yesterday. The moment you step on β€” it shows you exactly who you are in that moment. That's why I keep coming back. Not for the records. Not for the audience. For that one second, that one moment where everything β€” mind, body, breath β€” is completely present and in sync. Sixteen years in. Still the most accurate mirror I've ever found. Most people think adventure sports is about being fearless. It's not. It's about being terrified and going anyway. I've walked lines hundreds of metres above the ground. I've jumped out of planes and cliffs. I've built a company around doing things that make people say "but why?" The why took me a long time to figure out. A parachute accident and a long recovery gave me the answer. 30 days of stories, lessons, and banter starts today. πŸŽ™ Day 1 of 30 #slackline #skydive #adventureindia #faroutsamar #memoir
