ESQ Road | Perimeter Support Underway 🏗️
Our crew continues advancing the shotcrete scope along the Esquimalt Road perimeter as the excavation support system takes shape.
With tiebacks being installed and wall sections sprayed into place, the shoring system is helping stabilize the excavation and prepare the site for the next phase of below-grade construction.

Verdier | Demolition Underway 🚧
With the abatement phase now complete by @removallremediationservices , our crew has officially kicked off demolition at the Verdier project.
We’re carefully bringing the structure down piece by piece while sorting materials throughout the process to keep the site organized and moving efficiently.

Significant progress at Chown Place Phase 2 over the past few months 👷⠀

Framing is completed ahead of schedule thanks to Rumpel Construction’s great work. Through strong coordination with Rumpel, Alliance Engineering, Atlas Anchors, and Topline Roofing, we successfully incorporated 13 additional roof anchors as a late design change-without impacting the schedule. ⠀

Inside, Pro-Western and ARRM are making solid progress on mechanical and electrical rough-ins.⠀
⠀
Next up: roofing completions and cladding with Vic City Exteriors, with scaffolding now underway. ⠀

1183 Verdier | Project Kickoff 🚧
We’ve kicked things off at 1183 Verdier, beginning with sewer bypass work along the backside of the site while @removallremediationservices completes remediation.
Once that phase wraps up, we’ll move into demolition of the existing structure, followed by bulk excavation across the entire site.
This project will bring new multi-unit housing with underground parking to Central Saanich, along with added commercial space to support the growing community.

After working through some early-stage challenges, we’ve officially secured our excavation permit and have begun removing multiple truckloads of material from the site. It’s great to see real progress underway. ⠀⠀

Chown | Civil Progress
The RG Excavating team is back on site at Chown, continuing civil work around the exterior of the building. What began with the demolition of two structures has moved through site preparation and into the installation of key underground infrastructure.
Each phase brings this project one step closer to the finish line as we continue working alongside the crew at @farmerconstructionltd

Major Milestone Update
A major milestone has been achieved at Chown Place with the successful placement of the 520 m³ suspended slab, utilizing dual Radix pumps and four Trio concrete trucks pouring simultaneously. This coordinated effort allowed us to drive the schedule forward and complete the pour in a single operation. A big thank you to our trade partners LMS, Arrm Electric, Pro-Western Mechanical, Rumpel, RG Excavation, and Farmers Carpenters and Concrete crews for their dedication and teamwork in making this milestone happen seamlessly. Crews have since begun stripping and reshoring, and the crane has been erected in preparation for standing walls in the new year. 🚧🏗️
