We were on tour in Europe last year, @tonesandi asked if I could get on a zoom when I got home. At 3am. It was a zoom with @creepypuppet and the @aquamanmovie team, talking about a scene they would like Tones to be involved in. I had no idea why Tones wanted me to co-produce it with her, I wasn’t going to ask, it can’t be that different to co-producing a normal song with her…right? , so got to work and cuts of the scene began turning up in my inbox.
A few more 3am zooms with the film’s composer Rupert Gregson Williams, music team @ososnell and Michele Silverman, and @wendychristiansen …Tweaks, edits….Cut to 14 months later, 7 versions and I’m sitting next to Tones on a stage on the Warner Brother lot in Burbank, watching the 4 cues of music we made in the Kingfish Lair scene.

Women’s Asian Cup 2026. I can’t express level of gratitude and delight I have to get to collaborate with, compose for and music direct these ceremonies. Beyond proud of my music team and the artists, technicians, engineers, writers, producers who brought the show to life.
The best bit of the ceremonies was the people who make them. Everyday they would make me go wow wow wow, even when we were on revision 284629, trying to see if we could get it just that bit better. Cheering each other on. I love this team and these people so much ❤️

It’s only just sinking in. 3 weeks ago wasn’t just a show. Or a live album recording. Or a concert film. From the first phone call last year, it has been an insane musical undertaking. The level of talent and creative ambition from every single corner of the team that made HOME is what every musicians dreams are made of. Thank you.
