I don’t expect anyone to sit through this whole thing, these days two minutes is too long, and I say that admittedly. My attention span is shot. I can barely sit through seconds. But if you manage to catch a glimpse, I hope it helps inform, if even in the slightest manner.
This is not anti-semitism, before and if anyone assumes so. This is about the injustice caused by people in power - this is about humanity. Navigate the discussion to this apparent fact.
& then beyond this fact, expand this example of injustice, to the examples of injustice that are constant in various countries around the world, simultaneously. We don’t always get to witness it in real time through coverage.
I know it is exhausting to take it all in.
I know it is difficult to stomach.
And I know it instills an unbearable feeling of helplessness. But if we can live a decent life, with a roof over our heads, food and water to consume, and death not in frame, then we are living a fortunate life, and the least we can do is be aware of what is happening.
However it is important to not overwhelm oneself to the point of defeat. I’ve been there, and it’s not a speedy recovery. Just try to be aware enough to spread awareness- a ripple effect to unified knowledge.
& if one can physically do more - hallelujah.
This week thankfully, Palestine is uncovered once again, exposing their everyday reality.
I hope all injustice across the globe, receives exposure as such. I hope it generates ongoing sympathy. I hope it drives the ones in positions capable of action, to take appropriate action. I hope it makes a difference this time and every time to come. I hope it’s never again, just another fleeting roar.

A few days ago I wrote some thoughts about nearing an existential age; my dad replied to those thoughts with a voice-note (he is notoriously known for this preferred method of communication)
That voicenote is the soundtrack to this compilation which comprises of extremely random footage from my mobile device. After aimlessly rummaging through about 3,000 videos, ones I haven’t visited in years and some as recent as yesterday, this is the outcome.
In short - this is just a random film for dad. It makes no sense or all the sense, depending on the viewer. Just as this life, making no sense or any sense depending on the day.
Oh and thanks to the featured faces, I did not ask for consent to use.
Completely improvised in the moment, down to the reason why I even did it in the first place (one moment I was on a zoom call, then suddenly I found myself here) hence why this shirt is inappropriate for the nature of this lesson.
However, I truly believe when there’s an urge to teach, you shouldn’t fight it.
Yes, I am aware of my exaggerated accent, and hope to not have offended any real New Yorkers (I’m working on it)

Or is it the space between the lines.
A plateau-d moment, where time ceases to exist.
Pulling the blinds back only to pull them forward again; repetitive creeds to source a misconceived satisfaction.
What follows?
What succeeds momentous moments as such;
as ‘heaven’ ?
Must we live and go on bound to this everlasting,
timeless abyss?
Does anticipation expiate with our sins?
Do we no longer await the next best thing, or no longer look to obtain answers that far exceed everything we have come to know?
What difference is heaven to life here on earth?
When abundance has been pocketed and love exhausted, does contentment take shape and form in monotone tinted excursions?
