Giving this knit and felted vest its moment while it still feels like winter. Made this in my last couple days @textilmidstod with the Knittax 1950s machine I repaired with undyed wool from Blonduos sheep. Almost ruined it when I felted it to oblivion but result was perfect ❤️🐑
my mega post on my last day in Iceland. a. million thanks to @textilmidstod for entrusting me with this opportunity to restore so many amazing machines and letting me learn so many new crafts. a million thanks to my first ever machine repair mentor Andy for teaching me the ways of passaps and the circular machines and more I will bother you for guidance forever. not pictured my love for icelandic outdoor pools which i went to nearly every day.
someday i will come back...in the summer.
