Well... That's it Melbourne. We are already down to our final week at Fancy Free and we intend to go out with bang. As well as our usual trade throughout the week we will be hosting our closing party this Sunday July 28th. Fancy head chef and all round top bloke Matt Read will be joined by his buddy Reece Little as they take over the kitchen offering a NZ inspired food menu. Special guest Manu Potoi will be joining us on the floor and of course drinks from the bar team.

Well it’s been fun Melbourne. When we started out with our small (lol) pop up we thought it’d just be the three of us slinging drinks a couple nights a week while we continued the search for our forever home. Well, little did we know that it would turn into the beast that Fancy Free currently is with a staff of ten incredible humans who have for some reason decided to put up with us as we learn the ins and outs of owning a business.
Exciting times lay ahead for Fancy Free as we move ahead it also means our time at our Little Collins space is coming to an end. Our final day will be on July 28th which gives us just under 5 weeks to cram as much fun as possible into the end of our time here.
Come by and say g’day so we can look at you one last time before we’re out of this place and into the next!
Stay tuned for the shindigs we have lined up. The month of July is going to be a doozy.
