On this Father’s Day, I am feeling so much love for this little Angel. Taking her to one of my favorite places and seeing her eyes light up seeing a T-Rex is what life is all about. She doesn’t always make parenting easy, and it’s extra tough alone, so shoutout for single dads out there who put in all that hard work to make sure their beautiful babies have the best childhoods possible. Also, everything I know about how to do that I learned from my incredible dad, and I love him too every day.
Wrapped filming my first directing project at Donut and am so happy with how it all went. Very excited to see it come together in post, and look forward to the next one. Turns out, it can be pretty fun to get out of the edit bay to touch a little grass once in a while.
It was unbelievably good to spend some time in nature with my daughter and amazing parents last week. It can be easy to lose sight of yourself in the midst of a crisis, to feel detached from your roots in the constant noise of the big city. A real family stands by you no matter what and I am so grateful to have such wonderful loving people in mine. Also, happy birthday to the coolest dad I could ever ask for!!!
Had a blast with Chris and all the girls at the California Science Center, looking at weird fish and bugs on this rainy rainy day! NBC News even asked Zoey and I some questions about it so we will see if we end up on TV later this evening.

I love this little girl so much. Her smile is stunning, she’s so funny, and she can already sing better than I ever have, even if her lyrics don’t make sense yet. I have a lot to adjust to now that I am going to be doing a lot of this on my own, but all the worries melt away whenever she looks at me and says “Dada!”
I am returning to social media after a long time away- there have been a lot of big changes lately, but one thing that never changes is that this guy loves Godzilla more than is reasonable. Last night I got to see a special screening of Godzilla Minus One with the incredible @conor_holt where I got to meet the legendary director of the film, Takashi Yamazaki. Minus One has meant so much to me the last few months it has been out, and this was a very special treat. What a terrific kickoff to this new chapter of my life. Godzilla may ravage your city, it might feel like all hope is lost, but there are always reasons to choose life and keep on fighting for a better future.
