The new exhibition is up! Swing by @folketspark immediately! Michael Borring (@michaelborring ) is showing a small selection from his vast archive. The exhibition is up from Thursday 30 April. And will be up until 28 May. English: I am a Malmöbased fine art photographer, born in 1961, who uses photography to explore the urban environment’s ambiguities, questions, and imperfections. I use abstraction to express emotion and to engage with visual and conceptual complexities. For me, much of the joy of photography lies in uncovering these abstractions and meeting the challenge of portraying them through the camera. I work primarily in color. This selection of photographs where taken at various locations across Europe.

A new exhibition is up over at wonderland @folketspark ! This time it’s actually our own @skogh ! The exhibition is up until 5 February. Men viktigt. The current exhibition over at @folketspark as part of our Malmö i fokus! projekt is a selection from the @kranfotozine zines published so far! The exhibition is up now! (To the left of the old park entrance!) It will be up until 4 December. Exhibition curators: @famnpublishing + @kranfotozine Here’s some bits and pieces about the exhibition (in Swedish): kran är ett fotozine baserat här i Malmö. Hey! There’s one or two seats let for Saturday… YES, long overdue it’s finally time for a new Photo book session! 🤗 We’re welcoming you to Photo book session #11 with Jonas Dahlström! This one is extra special as it’s the book release of Jonas Dahlström’s new book “I’ll remember you”. Released on @kerberverlag Jonas and I (Christian) will talk about the book and the process behind making it. (Full disclosure- I had the pleasure to help Jonas make the book) About the book: I’ll Remember You by the Swedish photographer Jonas Dahlström is a poignant portrait of his father, who suffers from Alzheimerʼs. During his visits, Dahlström uses his fatherʼs camera to capture and preserve their moments together. Their shared passion for photography serves as a way of evoking the memories that remain—a link between the past and the present, between father and son. As his father sinks deeper into dementia, photography increasingly becomes a tool to help the author cope with the painful experience of witnessing his fatherʼs gradual decline. Through the camera lens, he confronts his fear of growing old and the eventual loss of his own memories. Limited number of seats - DM if you want to come! First come, first served. You need to wait for a confirmation that you got a seat. Date: Saturday 11 October, 2025 Time: 15:00 - ca 16:00, doors open at 14:45 Place: kran galleri & butik, Kockumsgatan 2, here in Malmö, Sweden. As always when it comes to the Photo book sessions: The idea is an informal gathering where we share and explore photo books as the objects they are. Simple as that! Layout. Sequencing. Size. Feel. Smell. Favorites. And of course the images! A central part is also for you to bring a photo book you love. Just to show it. Or if you feel like it - share a few thought about why you like it so much!
