Austurbæjarbíó, Reykjavik Live 1983 captures the band live in Iceland during the Perverted By Language era. Raw and repetitive, the set included early versions of material that would later appear on the album that same year. This was the Record Store Day release from Cherry Red in 2020 - orange & yellow splatter edition, remastered by longtime Fall engineer Andy Pearce.

The first lineup to feature the British-based lineup, Eleni Poulou (keys), Pete Greenway (guitar), Keiron Melling (drums) and Dave Spurr (bass) would prove to become their most stable, recording six studio albums with Smith and still going today as Imperial Wax.
