Congratulations again to Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti on receiving the WWD John B. Fairchild Honor. As Giancarlo said, Mr Fairchild was not always nice but he was above all a journalist who was most fascinated by what makes people tick. The clothes mattered but more than that, it was the designers who created them and the people who wore them.
