This commissioned piece by @jackrowlandart was framed in a half strength black stain and finished with satin lacquer, on a Tasmanian Oak thin profile frame. Powerful as always, great work Jack
Recent framing for the impressive @samoctigan , enjoy the unique finishes Sam requests, using a custom American oak moulding finished with a guitar oil mixture, hand applied, keeping a relationship between Sam’s art and his musical background.
Enjoyed stretching and framing ‘Sleeping Dunes’ for @alstarkruins , finishing his artwork in a warm walnut stain on a Tasmanian oak frame, then delivery out to a private collector in Cockatoo.
Had a great time working with @rhysjohnkaye on his show ‘Made From Rain’ showing at @novacancygallery from the 7th - 18th of May. Was given great direction from Rhys on some unique ideas, including a random panelled diorama frame housing multiple pieces and ornaments from Rhys’ travels. Was also great using bolts, dome head slot screws and aged mirror from my Dad @nyarypeter 50 year collection on a sheet metal and canvas diptych. Great show Rhys!
Lovely Tasmanian oak triptych for @_kmode painted on custom size Birch ply panels. Finished in a warm walnut stain and satin lacquer, this is heading off to Canada for a very lucky collector, well done Kim!

Recent framing for @_skola & @_mudo for their upcoming @backwoods.gallery show ‘B Side’. Really cool lenticular pieces mounted in thin black lacquered frames and stretched canvas in a warm walnut oak frame. These sit amongst a large body of work, opening tonight, with a Brazilian block party @paradisealleycollingwood on Sunday..
Really enjoyed working with @nathanjokovich for the first time on his current show ‘afterimage’ at the impressive @_northgallery . Nathan’s show comprises of previously unseen painted works in hand stained Tasmanian oak alongside stretched Japanese satin pieces framed in a unique 2-pack coating, a gold metallic automotive finish in high gloss. Terrific work Nathan, ‘afterimage’ is showing until the 14th.
@tom_gerrard_ has his show ‘In Situ’ currently showing @lennoxstgallery . I’d previously been lucky enough to have had Tom’s studio next to my workshop and been able to see him work most days. With his move up North, I’d seen only small parts of what he was working on, but in stretching, framing and finally viewing ‘In Situ’ I’ve been blown away by the skill and impact of the work. ‘In Situ’ is showing for a further two weeks, be sure to check it out.
Appreciated the opportunity to work with @georgiahillbth on her current show ‘Hold it, Hold on’ @backwoods.gallery . With framed linen, float mounted paper ceramics and a large plinth it was a broad range of work and is on display until the 15th of October. Brilliant curation by @tommygroves1 , well done Georgia
