Over the last 3 years, I’ve not only had the pleasure of working on the branding of a couple of events/parties but I’ve also gotten to see them grow into what they are today. I appreciate every one of them for trusting me with their ideas. ✨

The 42% rule is a concept based on research that suggests high performers should be spending at least 42% of their time resting or recovering. That includes sleep, low-effort movement, breaks, play, creative downtime, and true rest.
This comes so naturally to me that most times I’m unable to explain my process to people. But I’m glad I was able to find the words this time. While I was working on this, I stared at my Lego Lamborghini Countach and realized what I was doing was no different than what I did when I was putting it together. However, this time I used strokes and dashes to form letters then used the letters to build the final logo.
