I DID IT, MUM! 🎓 Last year, I was updating my resume and sharing to @penelope.myrtil that I felt annoyed that I couldn’t add my cégep studies, since I hadn’t finished them, but could recall taking so many classes. She recommended that I reach out to the college to know how many classes I had left. It was only 4 classes and they were all available during Fall 2025. At my grown age, I applied and was right back where I was a decade ago. I was definitely the oldest student in all of my classes, but it didn’t stop me. Nerves and all, I was set on my goal. I finally finished my DEC. I know younger me would be really happy. 😊 This accomplishment was made possible by the support of my family and friends. God blessed me with amazing individuals who supported and encouraged me. Special shoutout @ppo.chi @penelope.myrtil @joskinnybrown @surayaa_med @shadmad_ @houseofpinklady.mtl (the group chat held me down especially on exam days) @cotevertu @_onlyannes 💗 Thank you to everyone who was aware and believed in me. What am I doing now? I just started my undergrad at Concordia! Pray for me that in a few years, I’ll have a degree to show you all next! 🤞🏾
