I'm going to interrupt my own election-day doomscrolling to share some recent sheer happiness: this past weekend I was super fortunate to do a 3-day workshop at @como.artspace with the INCREDIBLY talented and amazing @davidemittadams It was truly an absolute privilege to learn from such a knowledgeable and talented artist—and all around delightful human being!! (Also shoutout to the phenomenal @claireawarden !!) I feel so grateful to have had this life-changingly fantastic experience (and FINALLYYY fulfilling a very longheld goal/dream/bucket list item), and I only cried a little.🥲 I can't wait to do more!!!🖤
Today = thirty-eight! This past year was brutal. Deaths, traumas, debilitating medical issues... but like the great work of poetry, "Tubthumping," once said: I get knocked down, but I get up again.✌️(In fact, I keep coming back like a bad rash.💅) Thanks to my amazing other half and my tribe of absolute fucking weirdos (and my Radiohead-loving therapist lol), I'm able to enter this next journey around the sun with joy returned to my heart. (Plus a new crop of wrinkles.) (Also my continued inability to take anything all that seriously.) Thanks for the love and support, my peeps!!🖤🖤🖤

20 years ago today, Eric and I kissed for the first time—and two friends stopped being just friends. So to celebrate our 20-year anniversary, enjoy some clips from 2004... and a bunch of others from the past TWO DECADES.
