You don’t realize how much time you get back… until you’re living it. A random weekday walk. No rushing. No bells. No asking for permission to step outside. Just fresh air, conversation, and moments I would’ve missed. Homeschooling isn’t always easy, but this right here? This is the part that makes it worth it. If you’ve ever felt like there has to be a different way to do life and learning… you’re not wrong 🤍 If you’ve been feeling the tug to homeschool, but you don’t know where to start, I put something together to help you take the the first steps without the overwhelm. Comment “HOMESCHOOL” and I’ll send it right over to you!🩷#motherhood #homeschoollife #singlemomlife #family❤️

They said it’s Teacher Appreciation Week… so I’d like to thank my one and only student for this incredible honor… For her dedication, her curiosity, and her unmatched ability to ask for a break or a snack every 7 minutes… To my fellow homeschool moms, this award is really for all of us. The lesson planners, the lunch ladies, the recess monitors, the janitors… we wear many hats and somehow still show up every day. And most importantly, to my daughter… thank you for never letting me clock out.😂😂😂 I’m humbled. I’m honored. I’m tired.” 🎤👏#motherhood #homeschoollife #singlemomlife #family❤️

I woke up early today with a long list to tackle, including getting my car serviced. I dropped it off, had breakfast, started homeschool, picked it up and honestly, I felt so accomplished. Mom win, right? I pulled into the driveway, ran inside to grab my daughter for dance, got back in the car… and it wouldn’t start. (Mom fail..😩) The problem that was “fixed” clearly wasn’t fixed at all. And suddenly, I had 35 minutes to figure out how to get her to class. My mind immediately went to worry. How much is this going to cost? How is this all going to work out? But instead of spiraling, I took a breath. I did what I could. I accepted what I couldn’t control. I prayed and I kept going. And through the rest of the evening, I saw it… little blessings tucked into my disrupted plans. Trust Him through the hard 🤍 #motherhood #singlemomlife #homeschoollife #faith

You don’t just change how your child learns… you change how much life you get with them. For just 6 years of time spent in homeschool, that’s thousands of hours not spent on: * busywork * long school days * rushing out the door And more time for: * slow mornings * real conversations And no… it’s not always easy. But it is intentional. #motherhood #homeschoollife #singlemomlife 🩷 Save this if you’ve ever wondered “what if”

If you ask anyone that has successfully achieved a goal, they’ll tell you that there were moments when they didn’t feel like doing whatever it took to get them to where they are now. But…they did it anyway. They did it when it was inconvenient, when they were scared, and even when it felt physically impossible. As a mom, I often have a million reasons to want to just “do it later”, or “try again next time”, but then I remember my why. I have someone watching me, and I won’t allow her to see me fail. 🥹🤍 #motherhood #singlemomlife #family❤️ #homeschoollife

Most moms don’t realize they have a choice. We follow the path we were given-public school, busy schedules, constant exhaustion, and we call it “normal.” But normal isn’t always aligned with our personal values. Choosing to live differently, whether that’s homeschooling, slowing down, or leaning deeper into your faith, can feel uncomfortable at first. But so does staying stuck in a life that doesn’t feel right. I didn’t change everything overnight. I just started asking myself, “what’s actually best for my family?” And then I prayed for the courage to follow through. You don’t have to do what everyone else is doing. You’re allowed to build a life that feels intentional.🤍 Start small. Just start.#motherhood #homeschoollife #singlemomlife #family❤️

The mess will get cleaned. The dishes will get done. But these moments? They don’t wait. I used to feel like I had to finish everything first… Now I know this is the important part. Save this for the days that you feel overwhelmed and behind.🤍#motherhood #singlemomlife #homeschoollife #family❤️

Not every day feels productive. But this is what dinner looks like on a busy, tired day. Simple, easy, and something everyone will actually eat. If you’re a mom trying to figure out quick dinner ideas, this is your reminder it doesn’t have to be complicated to be good or create connection. 🤍#motherhood #simpledinner #singlemomlife #homeschoollife #easyrecipe

Motherhood can be challenging, but it will always be my greatest blessing. Take the mundane tasks of the day and invite them in. It may take you a little bit longer, and the kitchen may end up being a bit messier, but the memories that you’ll make will be worth it.🩷#motherhood #singlemomlife #homeschoollife

People always ask me how I do it. How I manage homeschooling as a single mom. And for a while, I felt like I needed a more impressive answer…something put together, something polished. But the truth is, it’s a lot of prayer… and a lot of sacrifice. It’s learning how to stretch what we have, getting creative in ways I never expected, and growing into a version of myself I didn’t even know was there. I went into this thinking I was the teacher, but I’m learning right alongside her every single day. And sometimes that looks like life lessons… and sometimes it looks like homemade pizza and celebrating the small wins. It’s not perfect, but it’s meaningful. And that matters more to me. If you’ve ever felt like you’re not doing enough, you’re not alone 🤍 If you’re on this journey too (or thinking about it), I created a simple guide to help you start with confidence. It’s linked in my bio.#motherhood #singlemomlife #homeschoollife
