Good Morning Everyone,
We were able to get out & deliver eggs to Larson’s Cash Saver & Chicory late yesterday afternoon.
If you want to come to the farm & pick up, we have beef & eggs available. Hwy 7 S to 328 is passable to get here.
We’re here all day working so send a DM, give us a call, or just show up @ this point & we’ll get you set up.
💚
Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Andy Gibson at our farm. We rode through our pastures sharing our regenerative farming practices and he ensured us that this is the future of farming.
Thank you Andy Gibson for supporting the farmers and good luck in your race for Governor.

Locals Speak Out Against Location of Proposed Asphalt Plant

Our five elected Lafayette County Supervisors will vote on October 20 on what’s best for Lafayette County
"The idea of having 40.1 acres of Heavy Industry on the other side of the road from us is disheartening. Every practice we have implemented to promote animal and soil health would be in jeopardy. Heavy Industry brings pollution. Heavy industry brings noise. Heavy industry brings problems to Falkner Farms and detrimental impacts that we won’t be able to withstand. Ask yourself this, how many regenerative farms operate a couple hundred yards away from an asphalt plant? I’ll wait. . ." - Reed Falkner, Falkner Farms

Zoning Hearing Today @ 5:30 pm.
Lafayette County Chancery Clerk Building.
Desire to Rezone 40.1 acres of A-1 Rural Agricultural land to I-2 Heavy Industrial.
First intention being to construct an Asphalt plant, located across the road from our cattle in this picture.
If you have concerns or are in opposition, please attend and make your voice heard.
I paused & took this picture this morning. There was a sense of stillness & reverence in the air.
We will always remember the lives lost and the heroes of 9/11 🇺🇸
As of September 5, this “Notice of Zoning Hearing” was posted directly across from Falkner Farms.
The intent of this rezoning is to change generational A-1 rural agricultural land on Hwy 328 to Heavy Industrial (I-2 Heavy Industrial)
The reasoning behind the proposed change is for the construction of an asphalt plant.
