Fale FM returns with its seventh instalment, soft in its arrival but undeniable in its pull.For this chapter, @cellphii steps in with a 3.5-hour journey rooted in atmospheres, textured rhythms and her growing love for dubstep. Originally from Sabah, Borneo and now based in Tāmaki Makaurau, her sound draws across Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe and Aotearoa, weaving together a sense of place that feels both personal and expansive.We met Cellphii through the Women About Sound programme, where her work immediately held the room. Since then, her presence within Fale FM has felt undeniable.“Tumodo noh” meaning “have a safe journey” sets the tone. This is a mix that moves slowly, allowing tracks to breathe and settle. Built for long mahi, slow mornings, deep creative sessions or those slightly wonky late-night house gatherings. Letting moments breathe, letting the room settle, keeping you locked in that in between.This vinyl only mix was recorded after a similar set at All My Friends in London, towards the very end of the night. Holding onto the momentum while gently easing things down. Stretching out the final hours, where everything softens but no one is ready to leave.
