🚨In the Headlines! 📰 We had our world premiere on Thursday night in Hollywood! Red carpet + events at the DGA. Screened our film next door at the Landmark theaters. So many beautiful films in our block! It was incredible to watch them all! Congrats to everyone there that night. We appreciate everyone who attended the premiere of our documentary directed by Myles Matsuno, Light on the Hill at the Los Angeles Asian Film Festival in Hollywood. It meant everything to see so many faces who truly care about this story and our community. This community really stepped up for us and we will be forever grateful ☺️ Thank you to @myles_matsuno for creating such a powerful documentary about what we endured as a family during the Eaton Fire and how our community stepped up for one another. 🎥 This is something we’ll never forget. The Light On A Hill Soundtrack is out today. In contrast to my most recent noisy dance pieces, this short soundtrack is full of minimal piano and ambient space to give room for this family to tell their story. The story is one that begins with the 2025 LA fires that burned 13,000 structures. But in Altadena, CA one building remained standing: a family burger joint called @fairoaksburger . This is the story of the restaurant and how it became a hub for the decimated community around it. Big thanks to @myles_matsuno for bringing for bringing me on. The film premiers tomorrow (Apr 30) at LA Asian Pacific Film Festival.
