It was such much-needed time with my husband, and the hotel made our stay feel so romantic and unforgettable. The hotel is celebrating 100 years, and the last time we visited was 11 years ago before the renovation, so it felt extra special to come back and experience everything again.
We started the evening with dinner at the iconic Sky Room. The food presentation, design, atmosphere, and stunning views made the night feel magical. I absolutely loved the appetizers, and of course we ordered their famous bananas dessert and enjoyed the whole tableside show. @skyroomlb
After dinner, we continued the night at Alter Ego for live jazz, cocktails, and the perfect cozy vibe to end the evening.
The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Nettuno. The restaurant’s stunning design and beautiful art on the walls made the whole experience feel so elegant and special, and the French toast was absolutely amazing. Everything was beautifully presented, and the food was incredible.
And to complete our romantic weekend getaway, we ended our stay with a relaxing couple’s massage at the spa — the perfect ending to such a beautiful weekend together. ✨

Beginning at 7PM on most nights, live performances now shape the lounge’s rhythm: Thursdays and Saturdays bring Sounds & Sips. Fridays lean into Latin Jazz Fridays. And Sundays settle into Deep Soul Sundays. Every third Thursday, the venue also hosts its CSULB Alumni Jazz Series, adding a local academic and cultural connection to the lineup.
