There you are! Been a busy few months in the studio. Took a little time off from posting to focus on new work for upcoming shows and projects. But we’re getting back after it! We’re opening a new show titled “Something to Belive In” on May 29th @underdogs_gallery in Lisbon and we’ll be in Paris for @beyondthestreetsart opening May 26th. We made a few new one-off jean jackets with our friends @tanakanytyo@artoftanaka for a special pop-up in Tokyo. All handmade and sewn in the studio.
A limited number of one-of-a-kind denim jackets will be available at the venue. We also use fabric scraps that are generated during production to minimize waste of materials. What is important to TANAKA is “making the most of the potential of the materials until the very end.” This jacket is a special item born from that idea.
