Since before your arrival, I carried a quiet belief that when you came, life would feel like an eternal spring and you proved it true. With you here, colors have deepened, greens more alive, skies impossibly blue, and the world feels as though it’s beginning again. "If these paintings can be seen by a child who's undocumented, and then they think, oh, that's my story—that's it. That's everything," @studiolenca says. This clarity of purpose drives his upcoming exhibition at @momaps1, which focuses on education as a form of resistance.
