Sziget Festival adds an extra day for 2026: Day Zero returns ✨🙌
The Island of Freedom will open one day earlier on August 10, introducing a special Day Zero programme celebrating Sziget’s past, present and future. The first acts for the opening day include Faithless, Morcheeba and Goran Bregović. The additional festival day also marks a symbolic new chapter for Sziget, following its return to Hungarian ownership and the renewed involvement of founder Károly Gerendai — underlining the festival’s commitment to independence and freedom. Alongside this, Sziget also shared updates on new districts, cultural programmes and the launch of the Sziget SZociety Foundation.

Sziget Festival announces over 60 new electronic acts - The Delta District program is complete 🪩✨
Sziget Festival has revealed new names for its electronic music programme, completing the line-up of its dedicated nightlife area: the Delta District. Following its successful debut last year, the Delta District has quickly established itself as one of the festival’s defining experiences, where electronic music takes centre stage across multiple venues into the early hours. Around 100 acts will perform across the area, including Peggy Gou, Sara Landry, Indira Paganotto, Sub Focus, Argy and Richie Hawtin. Newly announced artists include Anfisa Letyago, Patrick Mason and Mestiza.🙌
While the Delta District is dedicated to electronic music, the genre is represented across the wider festival, with artists such as Underworld, Nia Archives and Soulwax also performing on other stages, alongside global names like Florence + The Machine, Jorja Smith, Lewis Capaldi, Twenty One Pilots and Sombr.
