๐ฎโ๐จ Surfing got so much more fun when i started:
๐ Focusing on FEELING the wave instead of overthinking every move. It's a think less - feel more kinda vibe.
๐ Moving with the ocean instead of resisting it. Surfing is a relationship between the masculine and feminine energy; strentgh and flow.
๐ Trusting myself and committing to waves โ no more doubts. The more you trust yourself, the more you flow with intuition. The more you flow, the more you take the right decision out there.
๐ Taking deep breaths on the side and connecting with the Ocean when i feel nervous or overwhelmed โ no need to rush, take a moment to calm the body and clear the mind.
๐ Embracing wipeouts as a fun and silly part of learning โ every fall is an opportunity to let go.
๐คช OK just 1 more cos this is importand: NOT Taking myself so seriously. Surfing (or life) is meant to be fun, free, happy. It's the idea of performing good that is making you have bad sessions. When you shift this pressure to having fun, you can make the best out of anything.
๐ฆน๐ผโโ๏ธ The moment I shifted my mindset, everything truly changed. Sure it took time, lots of commitment and hours understanding why i was feeling this way and where the frustration was coming from.
โ Now when i get triggered in the surf, i can shift back to feeling good in less that 5 min and fully enjoy the rest of my session.
Can you relate to these ? ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ป๐

Surfing is my greatest therapy, it healed my soul forever and the ocean teaches me to ride the waves of grief. It's where i feel closest to my Dad and where i transform pain into compassion.
Grief is not about loss, it's about LOVE.
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน If you are struggling with loss or mental health, remember that healing is possible, keep moving forward, seek for help, allow yourself to feel, you are not alone.

โข โค๏ธ "You're going to realize it one day-- that happiness was never about your job or your degree or being in a relationship. Happiness was never about following in the footsteps of all of those who came before you; it was never about being like the others.
One day, you're going to see it-- that happiness was always about the discovery, the hope, the listening to your heart and following it wherever it chose to go. Happiness was always about being kinder to yourself; it was always about embracing the person you were becoming.
One day, you will understand that happiness was always about learning how to live with yourself, that your happiness was never in the hands of others. It was always about you. It was always about you.โ

Turns out life's secret is pretty simple:
SURF + TROPICAL WATER + A GOOD CREW โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
It was a true honor spending time in the Mentawai Islands with such epic souls! Laughters, tears, nonsense, crispy skin and absolute madness. No idea what day it was, but we did remember one thing ๐๐ผ
Life is meant to be lived: big, bright and bold. The present moment is all you have and that is what surfing keeps reminding you over and over again.
๐To be present is power.
๐ To cultivate joy is hope.
๐ To embrace every moment is true living.
Looks like we'll be more delulu together next year!

Most happy โค๏ธโ๐ฅ out at sea.
It's been a challenging beginning of the year, filled with tears, anger, frustration. Coming back to healing landscapes helped me find clarity and myself again. The ocean holds all the answers.
Riding the waves of life can be freakin' wild right? It's not always rainbows and butterflies, yet i keep finding beauty in all of it.
Focus on the good things, on the things you want rather than the things you don't want. Trust that it's all working out, even if everything is a mess now. You can only ride the waves and let go of resistance, as much as possible.
