Stuck on a tightrope between performing and performance, this work begins to unravel the blurred lines between an artist's stage persona and real identity. An attempt at self-rediscovery through navigating a conservative society both publicly and privately.

I'm so proud of this work and what it represents. Everything that I'm proud of and have feared these past 4 years both in and out of NAFA, amalgamated in one dressing room. Thank you to those who came out to see this work or told me it resonated with you. I can't explain how cathartic it's all been. It's been such an honour.
Another thank you to all my friends and lecturers who I have been with throughout my time in NAFA. I love you all dearly and can't see what you all accomplish next!

THE LAST ACT
I still don't really know what to feel about handling the end of my time in NAFA. I will miss my lecturers and friends terribly. You all have been the light and source of what pushes me and my artistic practice everyday and I will carry all that we have shared together with me. I have so much more I want to say but I'll save that for a separate post LOLOLOL.
A BIG BIG THANK YOU TO @alamrekaanseri for being the pillar behind my final artwork. You mean the world to me and I'm so glad we got to share this time together working and suffering and laughing together. It's been the best joyride.
To my lecturers, especially @ezzam_rahman@stllng@lydw.plain and @chng_keng_beng . You have all always been the most solid system that I could rely on and I'm so glad to have gotten to know you in my time here.
And to the people, both strangers and friends alike, who have shown up and resonated or shared with me how much they liked the work, I cannot thank you enough for the support and 'seeing' me.

Last night was my daughter Lauralie and I's debut at @riotdragshow and I couldn't be prouder! Thank you so much to @beccadbus for having me and the crew for being so helpful!! I'm so glad I got to share the stage with my cast, @elf_in_a_trenchcoat@leighlomo@anittadolla@chiobussy@blaquetiarasorrel@kakninaboo and @beccadbus , they were all so GOODDD!
Sea monkey butoh as a concept for me has just begun and I can't wait to build on it in the future! However for now, I shall be going on hiatus from gigs but I'll be back one day so don't miss me too much!
My drag debut journey has been everything I hoped it was and so much more. I can't thank my friends enough for coming out to support my shows both the ones in and out of pictures, it means so much to me. And of course the team of friends, whom without, this could never have happened. A big thank you to Blythe for being there through everything, my biggest rock and ultimate sister, Nigel who's always there for me for the music of my performances, Jia Ying who for killing it on so many of my photoshoots and Joy for overseeing my choreo and performance choices for the night.
