Her self-taught journey into makeup began in 2013 during a personal transition from law enforcement while navigating postpartum depression. Makeup became an outlet, leading to a full-time pursuit in 2015. In addition to her diverse expertise, Janea is the Founder and Owner of

Since 2018,
@FacedByJanea has managed a full-scale Beauty Team (Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist, Barbers and Wardrobe Stylist/Assistants) for TV/Film, Backstage, Corporate Conferences and High-Profile Live Events. With hundreds of productions, weddings, high profile, and everyday clients under her belt, she has become a trusted name in the industry.
Over the last 11 years, Janea has served as the Department Head/Lead for over 100 major brands, in addition to working with many notable high-profile clients each time with a focus on precision, creativity, and helping clients show up as the best version of themselves.
