I loved being 30 with all my heart.
I fulfilled several life wishes and made some beautiful friends along the way.
Grad school consumed a big part of this year but I would do it all over again just to get to know myself and love myself a little more.
Entering 31 with so much gratitude and willingness to get lost in my art. 💙

I forgot to party up the last year of my twenties…
29 was everything and more.
As the youth say, “I locked in” and went to grad school.
I met so many beautiful people and made some amazing friendships.
I got lost in so much art and was able to create art of my own that I felt was transformative for myself.
I can acknowledge that I am not the same person I was at the beginning of this year and that brings me so much joy. I continue to battle inner doubts about who I am as an artist, but my heart and mind now contain vocabularies of self-love that help diminish those negatives.
I feel so excited and nervous about this year, good nervous.
Here’s to being 30, flirty, and thriving! 💙
28 was full of art, nature and healing ❤️
Thank you always for all the beautiful birthday messages.
This year I will be living up the last year of my twenties. You can find me at the club Friday or in bed by 9:30. Suggestions accepted.

26 was a challenging year but I also learned to think of all the good things I’ve accomplished. Taking that lesson with me to year 27 and I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Here are some of my favorite parts of 26. ❤️

I’m forever grateful for the friends I have. Thank you for dancing on stage with me once again. Thank you for being your authentic self’s. Thank you for bringing this work to life. You all continue to inspire me. I cannot wait to dance together again. ❤️
In the winter of ‘89 my mom crossed the Rio Grande River into the United States. She has faced so many struggles in this country and yet she has overcome them. My mom is one of the strongest women I have met in my life. She has worked so hard so that my brothers and I are able to accomplish all the things we wish to do and I am forever grateful for her. Today she became a United States citizen. Please ask her some questions from the test portion of the process because she learned ALL 100 of them and was so proud of herself. The infinite love I have for this beautiful, strong, compassionate, and extraordinary woman. ♥️
