It is with great honor, gratitude and respect to share our Island Ave story with
@abc7la . With inspirations from LA streetwear, and the islands of the South Pacific, Island Ave set sail on this journey almost 10 yrs ago to build a global lifestyle brand, by building a great community, through the creative medium of apparel. ✨
We honor our Pacific Islander ancestors who traversed the largest mass on earth, the Pacific Ocean, (only by the sun, moon and stars), by navigating our own journey through apparel, with hopes to only inspire. “Blessed is he who plants trees, under which shade he will never sit”… Our goal is to pay it forward as well, to the next generation, continuing to honor the legacy and sacrifice of the ancestors. ⛵️
At the core of Island Ave is resilience, perseverance, tenacity, building character through extreme adversity. We hope to create apparel with intention, purpose, and meaning, so when you adorn Island Ave you feel confident, courageous, charismatic, which in essence creates a global community and culture of compassion. ✨
