Today, the Management Team of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku.
The visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration, particularly in the area of aviation-related emergency medical response, disaster management, and capacity building for first responders.
Both agencies reaffirmed their commitment to working together to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities across Nigeria’s airports.
FAAN MD, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, has reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to supporting the Nigerian Army in enhancing its air transport and logistics operations.
This was highlighted during a meeting with senior officers of the Nigerian Army Corps of Supply and Transport, led by Major General Nansak Danjuma Shagaya, in Lagos.
Discussions focused on strengthening existing collaboration, including plans to restart the Nigerian Army Air Freight Company and support proposed welfare flight operations for personnel.
The MD assured the delegation of FAAN’s readiness to provide the necessary support for seamless operations, reinforcing its commitment to safe, secure, and passenger-friendly airport services.
