Mary was Present in the Upper Room
Our first reading today mentions the names of those who gathered in the Upper Room, but one name we must not gloss over is Mary, the Mother of Jesus. It was at the Upper Room that the disciples of Jesus began to accord Mary her rightful place as Mother of the Church. As we gather at the Upper Room to pray, let us endeavour to pray our Rosary. Let us ask Mary, who was so honoured by God to be His Mother, to intercede for us.
Dear friends, where is your upper room? Have you dedicated a corner in your home or an entire room for prayer? When was the last time you visited that place? Have you been taking care of your upper room, or has it just become a sort of decoration in your home? Is it just something to show people that you are a Christian? Do you walk into your upper room with faith, trusting that God is present there?
Perhaps, you do not even have an upper room. Why not create one today? If you consider prayer important, then just as you have a room in your house dedicated to cooking (the kitchen), you should at least dedicate a space for prayer, call it your upper room. Make use of your upper room. Spend more time in your upper room. Prayer is the master key!
Graciously hear our supplications, O Lord, so that we, who believe that the Saviour of the human race is with you in your glory, may experience, as he promised, until the end of the world, his abiding presence among us. Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.

An inspiring evening of cinematic exchange, cultural dialogue, networking, and collaboration between Nigeria and TĂĽrkiye through the power of film and storytelling.
A short Nollywood film "Eno" directed by Yemi Morafa and a short Turkish film "Cemile" directed by Belkis Bayrak were screened.
We appreciate the Embassy of TĂĽrkiye, partners, filmmakers, creatives, delegates, and guests whose presence made this event a success. Together, we continue to build bridges through arts, culture, and cinema.

The Director General of the Kaduna International Film Festival, Audu Kashim Israel @ezzykash , has met with His Excellency Mohamadou Musa Njie, Ambassador of The Gambia to Nigeria.
The meeting focused on areas of collaboration aimed at promoting peace, culture, and tourism between both countries. Discussions also covered capacity building initiatives and other areas of mutual interest.
