So proud of Ezra and his team for all of their hard work on their historical research project, ‘From Despair To Development: How The Creation Of The Works Progress Administration And The Civilian Conservation Corps Impacted The Great Depression.’ They rocked SW Washington’s Regional History Day Competition, placed second, and are headed to State! 🎉
I had so much fun dancing in Christmas stories this year with my friends and brother @gabrieldancer . Hanging out backstage, dancing with my friends and getting to play the stage manager role were some of my favorite parts! Thank you to @dancefusionnw , @carlakendallbray , my teachers and the costumers for making this show so fun!
It’s hard to describe just how special this year’s Dance Fusion “Christmas Stories” and community shows were. 5 community performances, 4 main shows, 30+ routines, countless costume changes, laughs, hugs and so many tears… our hearts are full.
At the heart of it all is an incredible dance studio and family. Thank you @dancefusionnw and @carlakendallbray for the immense love and care you give to these dancers. The show was spectacular!
This year was especially bittersweet as it was Gabriel’s final Christmas Stories. He has been given an amazing opportunity at Oregon Ballet Theatre, and while we are so excited for his next chapter, saying goodbye to this stage was hard.
The studio’s sendoff for him was so touching—I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. 😭 Seeing him perform as the first-ever male Angel, the lead in "Baby, It's Cold Outside," and the Nutcracker Snow King was the perfect culmination of years of hard work. ❄️
Witnessing these dancers love and support one another, while making memories they’ll never forget, is truly everything. 🥰
This competition season was amazing! I had so much fun spending time with my dance friends and making new ones. Thank you @dancefusionnw and my family for helping me reach these goals. Thank you to @lillian_collins , @jasonrwickett , and @tiffanyshontelle for these awesome dances. I’m excited for next season!
Just finished performing one of the funnest shows I’ve ever danced! Perfect Circle was fun, thrilling and wild. It was super duper fun to hang out with my friends and put on an awesome show. Thank you @carlakendallbray , @swan_dancer , @tiffanyshontelleco , @nicholestewartgraves , @jasonrwickett , and @charlesswatzell for including me in this amazing show. I’ll never forget it 😃 And congrats to all the dancers!
