As part of the International Womens Day and Womens Month, The Cost of Justice anthology, produced by UN Women Nigeria and South Saharan, with support from Ford Foundation Nigeria, was unveiled today.
In her remarks, UN Resident & Humanitarian Coordinator (a.i.) Ms. Elsie Attafuah urged stakeholders to move beyond pledges and take concrete action to make justice a lived reality for every woman and girl. She stressed that justice must be accessible, inclusive, and transformative, in line with SDG 16 Peace Justice And Strong Institutions and SDG 5 GenderEquality.
The anthology stands as both testimony and reminder of the cost when justice is delayed or denied, and as a rallying call for collective action to dismantle barriers and ensure equity.
