This academic year has been a very intense and pivotal one, marked by the largest student collectivization since the 60s, across not only the UdK and Berlin, but also the rest of Germany, Europe, and the world. If we are to talk about a new horizon, we cannot do so without talking about Palestine, the solidarity movement in support of it, and the repressions against the movement and individuals.
This project thus aims to track the chronology of the student movements, the developments within the cultural scene, the proposed and realized legislative changes that came as a response, and how and why they have all intersected.
The project is made up of an installation that reflects the developments within academia and the student movement, with timelines from the UdK, HU, TU, and HandsOffStudentRights, as well as a full-day stage program with many amazing researchers, artists, writers, cultural workers, students, and activists who will expand upon the content through talks, presentations, panel discussions and poetry.

The poster is a parody of the official UdK poster design in Arabic and Hebrew, as they have both been excluded from this year's Rundgang designs because of political reasons. It is meant to counter the divisive narrative perpetuated by the UdK and many other institutions, and to signal both Arabs and anti-Zionist Jews collectively standing up against the genocide and German state rhetoric.
