Per_Xydeon: Nightshades within the Summer Grasses is a bold reimagining of opera for the 21st century—a cross-disciplinary experience where music, movement, and media converge. Featuring a blend of classical virtuosity and technological innovation, it offers a compelling commentary on human evolution, identity, and our relationship with machines. It's not only visually and sonically captivating, but also intellectually rich—perfect for audiences craving depth, originality, and cultural relevance. **Please also be aware that this show includes strobing lights** TEAM Nadine Feida El Shoura (Direction & Production) @fibonacci_the88th Amit Palgi (Choreography & Production) @amit.palgi Christos Constantinou (Creative Technology / Holographic Curtains) @block_sys Sander Brouwer (Technical Director & Production Assistance) Hilda Nanlohij (Dramaturgy Advisor & Production Assistance) El Yusser Sebihi (Floormanager, Direction & Production Assistance) @ez.yusr Dancers: Eloy Cojal Mestre @eloycojal Rodrigo Loureiro‪ @rodrigolourei.ro Roni Yaacobi @snotty_girrl Ines Fertuzinhos @ines_fertuzinhos Musicians & Sound Artists: Matteo Traverso (Synth & Sound Artist) @trawe94 Job Boots (Composer) @bobjoots Ben Henneböle (Composer / Digital Soundscape) Jonas Winkelmann (Classical Composer) Frank Deimann (Conductor) Indy Kruithof (Soprano) @indykruithof Eva Luna Collet (Celeste) @mandarijndier Willem Peters (Drums) @willem_peters_drums Emil Buchholtz (Contrabass) @emil.buchholtz Firiël Werner‪ (Flute) @firiel.met.trema Adrián Abad Antoñanzas‪ (Violine) Marius Hagedorn (Cello) @marius.makes.music Lars Kristian Blom (Clarinet) @larskristianblom Sound Engineers: Jesse Noordhuis @j.noordhuis_productions Jorg Galousis @karkinos.mp3 Fashion & Costume: Katie Lawne Maria Katsioperi Camera: Quintin van Os @vanosquinten Noah Vd Heijde

This academic year has been a very intense and pivotal one, marked by the largest student collectivization since the 60s, across not only the UdK and Berlin, but also the rest of Germany, Europe, and the world. If we are to talk about a new horizon, we cannot do so without talking about Palestine, the solidarity movement in support of it, and the repressions against the movement and individuals. This project thus aims to track the chronology of the student movements, the developments within the cultural scene, the proposed and realized legislative changes that came as a response, and how and why they have all intersected. The project is made up of an installation that reflects the developments within academia and the student movement, with timelines from the UdK, HU, TU, and HandsOffStudentRights, as well as a full-day stage program with many amazing researchers, artists, writers, cultural workers, students, and activists who will expand upon the content through talks, presentations, panel discussions and poetry. When? Sunday, the 21st of July / 14.00-22.30 Where? Steinplatz, in front of the main UdK building at Hardenbergstr. 33 Program • 14-15 (Talk): Forensis - German Arms Export to Israel • 15-17:30 (Panel): Cultural Workers in Reflection and Conversation (Basma al-Sharif, Jumana Manna, Khatib Sami, Zaina Shreidi, Archive of Silence - Moderated by Gabriela Manda Seith) • 17:30-18 (Break) • 18-21 (Panel): Student Activists in Reflection and Conversation (UdK, TU, FU, HU, Uni Potsdam, Hertie, JSC, HOSR - Moderated by decoco) • 21-22:30 (Poetry): Poetry from Ghayath al-Madhoun & students The installation and program is organized and produced by El Yusser Sebihi, with contributions from various student collectives in Berlin (UdK, HU, TU, and HOSR). The poster is a parody of the official UdK poster design in Arabic and Hebrew, as they have both been excluded from this year's Rundgang designs because of political reasons. It is meant to counter the divisive narrative perpetuated by the UdK and many other institutions, and to signal both Arabs and anti-Zionist Jews collectively standing up against the genocide and German state rhetoric.

Terrorist Chic is an oxymoron. It is queer caliphatism manifest. It is part conceptual fashion show and runway, part performance art, part audio-visual show, part art exhibition, and part club & concert event, but all fully political and in protest. Resenstitize yourself. With clashing live sets and acts of noise, ambient, and atmospheric sounscapes; an intoxicating light show alongside sobering 2 channel visual projections; and a performative runway of disguised hyperboles and subversive allegories. All in a basement within the heart of the now-gentrified Kreuzberg as a symbolic act of reclamation. Join us this Monday, the 1st of July, to open up the Berlin Fashion Week with a bang ;) **This is a fundraising event: All the profits will be donated to charities and funds active in Palestine** Creative Direction & Production: @ez.yusr Fashion: @youthfulaliens Sound: @hard.boiled.hemorrhoids @fisksounds @ginalololo @0k0mb1 Lights: @vult.ven Visuals: @datalumifilm Space & Production Assistance: @pandora_gallery_kreuzberg @guinchi_pandora Poster/Graphics: @ez.yusr Background/Painting: @maayalattar
