The fab @siobhanharperryanmua was the makeup designer for this TV series and did a fantastic job at capturing the life of character Suzie Pickles played by @billiepiper .
The makeup looks are real and raw reflecting the life of the chaotic 30 something old actress.🎭.

👀The lenses worn for the drug scene were large diameter lenses that gave the illusion of dilated pupils, which helped add to the intense trippy hotel drug scene.
The amount of detail that went into this production is fantastic and another TV series that operates safetly by having bespoke SFX contact lenses fitted and onset health care. Fantastic work and a fantastic team. 🥰

This lens was an alternative style to a prism ballast lens that did not need to have a fixed vertical rotation setting. . 👁️A correctly fitted scleral lens can really help pull the final look of a full prosthetic makeup together . 😍😍

🦎 The brief was lizard style lenses. The fitted process for these lens was very important to have the lens stabilized. In order for the slit pupil to sit vertically. The attention to detail is 😍😍.

Does anyone know? Will we just quickly slip back into 'normal' life like this was all a dream?♥️

🔮I have been listening to a few webinars on this and no one seems to know for sure what will happen. Many people are trying to think about what their future will look like and develop new skills whilst others are enjoying the down time. Whatever you are doing it is it is all 'normal' because right now there is no 'normal'.
.
👁️I designed this lens to raise awareness for a charity and running event that was cancelled due to COVID. But like everything else that is going on I decided to ADAPT my post. In the. Same way we have all had to adapt to the new 'normal' and the in the same way we will have to adapt when things return to 'normal'.
. 👨⚕️👩🎨Adapting how we practice as Optometrists and adapting how we work as makeup artist in the workshop. Will we all have to wear PPE in the work place? What will the new #setlife look like? .
♥️Just a little reminder that we are all adapting together and no one has all the answers and we may even figure out better ways of doing things after all this..
..🎨.

.So if you were working on a project, design, final piece, venture or even a new idea . Don't throw in the towel try just to ADAPT and acknowledge that even if it hasn't worked out the way you planned you still have learned something along the way. .

⚠️Just a little reminder for all those with eyelash extensions who will not be able to attend their regular maintenance appointments on the importance of eyelid hygiene. ⚠️
.
🎨Not only will taking care and cleaning your eyelashes properly make them last longer it will also reduced the chance of nasty infections including . Bacterial conjunctivitis, styes , blepharitis and chalazion. .
💧👁️A good eyelid cleanser is very important. Not all eyelid cleansers are suitable for eyelash extensions. It must not contain oil, glycols, , alcohols and must have a PH balanced for extensions. It must be soft , non-irritating whilst still being effective at removing dirt , oil ,dust and bacteria. I would also recommend avoiding waterproof based eyemakeup with extensions as to effectively remove this an oil base is needed.

. 👀This scleral lens was designed to give an old age/unnatural deteriorating eye. The scleral lens covers the whole of the conjunctiva to give this greyish mottled look and glazes the cornea to give an opaqueness effect. .
🎨The talented makeup designer @melanie.lenihan.7 achieved the perfect ageing makeup for this War of the world's production. The original brief was between choosing an Ailen/unatural look and an ageing look. These ideas were merged together to give this finished looked.
