Have you heard of it? Is it coming to your town? (We’d highly recommend getting involved if so) Mike might even be tempted to come and join another, he’s missing it already!

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for us. These are five small choices we make behind the press that often go unnoticed, but they add up to something much bigger.

Sometimes the simplest format works best. Stapled booklets are a straightforward way to bring together programmes, brochures, catalogues or magazines as they're clean, practical and easy to share. If you’ve got a booklet project coming up, we’re always happy to talk through the options đŸ‘‰đŸŒ

A fast-moving project, a tight deadline and a lot of detail to get right Last year we worked with the team at Ted Baker to produce their AW25 lookbook, managing the print production from supplied artwork through to final delivery. Projects like this are always a collaborative effort đŸ‘đŸŒ Constant communication, careful checking and making sure the finished piece reflects the quality of the brand itself. If you’ve got a print project on the horizon and need a team that can move quickly and keep standards high, we’d love to hear about it.

We’re thrilled to showcase Focus Quarterly Issue 1, a striking 32-page photography zine by Tom Lee. Designed in Affinity Publisher and printed in a small 30-copy run, this A4 booklet pairs a refined layout with rich, expressive imagery, all reproduced on glossy 170gsm FSC-certified paper. From print consultation to delivery logistics, our team supported Tom through every step. The result? A beautifully bound, editorially confident publication that invites the reader into an immersive photographic experience. Dimensions: A4 Binding: Stapled Stock: 170gsm Gloss FSC Certified Pages: 32pp Got your own project in mind? We’d love to help → exwhyzed.com

No pro started perfect. Remember that. Every published artist once didn’t know exactly how. Your early pages are part of a story, proof you dared to begin! 📌 Save this for your next first draft moment.

A lot of portfolios fall down in the same places. Too much work and not enough context. Good project but no clear structure. Strong visuals but hard to follow. Getting those details right makes a big difference to how your work is understood. If you’re building or refining your portfolio, we’ve broken it down properly in our latest blog. Head to the link in our bio to read it! đŸ‘‰đŸŒ

Degree show season comes around quickly! After months (and usually years) of work, your catalogue needs to reflect it properly, not feel like an afterthought rushed at the last minute. We’ve worked with students and universities across the UK, so we understand the timelines, the pressure, and what’s needed to get it printed and ready in time. If your show is coming up and you haven’t sorted print yet, now’s the time to get it moving đŸ‘‰đŸŒ

Some of the street photography coming through the studio lately has been seriously good đŸ€© The kind of work that deserves more than a quick scroll! Moments, details and stories you only really take in properly when they’re printed and put in sequence. Street photography especially benefits from that slower pace. Seeing it on paper, as a collection realy changes how it lands. If you’re working on a photo book, we’re always happy to help you shape it and get it printed right đŸ‘‰đŸŒ
